Luke and Reiley knocked the air out of the 4-6 inches out there. It's still soft out there, but our loyal groomers will keep on packing. Once we firm things up over the next few days we'll be ready for a warming trend forecasted for over the weekend. It's Girdwood isn't it? Keep skiing and enjoying winter. pz...

Beaver Pond was groomed through and through! by the Snowdog, smoothing out variable surface snow. Try to stay on top - maybe ski it before the temps creep up later this week. Upper Meadows narrow gauge was also complete. Pick up after pups everyone. Thank you groomers and GNSC supporters!...

Tonight our snowdogs groomed Moose Meadow's PVT as well as lower meadows. All other trails were brushed up after a busy weekend of trail use, so enjoy your ski in the morning! Check back for other narrow gauge trail updates...

Groomers were out this morning combing the 5 k, upper and lower meadows, Moose Meadow, and Arlberg bikepath. Tracks were not set. Use your best trail etiquette, pick up after the pup, and enjoy a beautiful Sunday in Girdwood - below freezing....

This morning all trails were groomed and new tracks set. Skis or snowshoes will keep you gliding on top of multi-use trails and sustain the trails for more users. Stay dry out there and get some fresh air! Thank you groomers. Do your snow dance too while you yearn for snow...

This evening Moose Meadow, upper and lower meadows, Arlberg sidewalk, and connector trails were groomed. The 5k was combed and tracks were left. The Snowdog also went out on the bike path to the bathrooms.  Ready for snow!...

The 5 k was worked on this morning, resulting in a nice groom just waiting for new snow. Tracks have been removed, but the trail is set for skiing. All the meadow trails were brushed with tracks left - stay tuned for more work on those. Viewscape Perimeter is firm and great for riding. Be safe out there during the few days left of 2021! and pick up after that pup.  ...

Tonight: The snowdog groomed Gird to Bird out to the first bathrooms and lower Iditarod trail. The moisture added snow packed well. In addition, the 5 k, Arlberg sidewalk, moose meadow, lower and upper meadows, plus connector were also groomed with tracks laid down for most. Hopefully all will set up overnight. ...

Groomed this morning: 5K, Upper Meadows, Moose Meadow, and connector trails. Classic track set on Moose Meadow. Have fun and get out before the snow changes! This evening the Snowdog groomed the Viewscape Trail, lower, middle, and upper meadows. Ruts and dips were shoveled in where most necessary....

All trails were combed last night with tracks set! Enjoy the narrow gauge ViewScape trail around Moose Meadow, and the lower and upper meadows. It's sweet out there. Tonight: Narrow Gauge went out on lower Iditarod and the bike path. Trails should set up for tomorrow. Thank you to our groomers and GNSC supporters! Goodmorning! Arlberg bikepath, the 2K loop, upper meadows and Moose Meadow were smoothed out last night. Take a ski on the lower and upper meadows narrow gauge groom, put in this morning! Groomers were out today knocking in as much as 6 inches of new snow. Our Moose Meadow Viewscape Trail around the perimeter is in! Join your friends and neighbors out at the 5 K trailhead for a Solstice Ski around our short loop. Come out for a magical ski, enjoy the fire, refreshments and friends.
