Girdwood, the forecast is calling for winds Weds and Weds night. Please stay off the 5K if the winds are blowing in the valley. We have had over a dozen trees down on or near the trail since the first storm and the snow load on the trees is heavy. For your safety, if you're going to ski, GNSC recommends to venture in the open meadows instead....
