The trails are ready for your gliding skis and staggered celebration. Join GNSC in spirit and in person around the shortest day of the year. The 1.6 K loop will be beautifully lit tonight, December 21st from 5-9 PM. Come ski the loop alone or with friends. To keep the congregating to a minimum we will not have a fire pit or refreshments, but encourage everyone to come ski at their own pace and see the lights on the shortest day of the year. Shane went out and got in a groom. It turned out soft but he was able to get some tracks in around the 5K. Shovelers worked yesterday from Horror Hill through Crockets bridge paving the way for the next snow impulse. Moose meadow is still draining water and we will get to it as soon as it is possible. Jim is going out this morning @ 8 AM for a 5 K groom. We are VERY close to getting all trails open. Stay tuned! We are about to get the OK from the Municipality to start grooming all trails. Bear with us to get your trails up and running. Ben took the snow dog narrow track groomer out on the 1st 1/3 of Beaverpond trail from Crow Cr. road.
