Anyone who lives in these areas or uses the trails is encouraged to participate in the trail use survey. The Plan does not include trails in Chugach State Park.  It only takes 10 minutes! and closes August 18th....

Since November, this Can-Do Crew has been maintaining the Girdwood winter trails. Over 400 hours of grooming…and much more in chainsaw action and maintenance. Today, we packed everything away. Not everyone is included the photo, but groomers usually work behind the scenes anyway. Huge THANK YOU to The Bake Shop (feeding us), Kyle (fuel and maintenance), CPG groomers, Alyeska Resort groomers, and Justin Siemens for helping with the deep snow. See you all in the fall. Please respect the trails and winter-only areas as they go through their spring cycle. Bike, hike, walk where appropriate as the snow melts! GNSC will post when trails are firm for non-ski recreation....
