With new, dry snow the Girdwood trails got a fresh groom this morning.  The 5K Nordic Loop was groomed and classic track was set.  Upper Valley trails, Moose Meadow, connector trails and the Arlberg bike path were also groomed and classic track was set.  There should be some fun skiing out there today....

Groomers spent some time out there today to get all of our trails back in peak condition. We did not cut any new tracks but many of the old ones are still there for you classic  skiers. Get out and enjoy the snow!!pz...

Jeff got out yesterday afternoon and smoothed out the Upper Meadow Loop and the 5 K. Last night's slightly cooler temps should  make for a fast morning ski! Beyond Crockets Bridge towards Moose Meadow, ski and Bike tracked trails are a little rougher and wet in places. As these trails freeze up groomers will be back to smooth them out. pz...

John went out this morning and groomed out as much as 6" of new snow.  Over the past 2 days we have received MORE THAN 2 1/2 inches of water much of which was rain on our trail system. We will slowly work toward opening the whole system as wet spots indicate. Looks as if snow is tapering off this morning. Ski it up! pz...

The 5K Nordic Loop, Upper Meadows, Moose Meadow and the connector trails were smoothed out this morning.  No new classic track was set, but the existing track is still usable - a few wiggles here and there, but they seem to be ok.   Snow in the valley is, as you might imagine, pretty wet and soft.  It still skis fine....

5K and upper Meadow Loop came out pretty nicely. Also the stretch to the church looks OK as well but Moose Meadow is pock marked with tracks and will take lots of snow to cover it all up. Your groomers won't give up! Keep skiing it up. Thanks Jeff and Pz...

Groomers gave a onceover to 5K. Still soft with new snow. Classic skis recommended. The connecter to Moose Meadow from Arlberg is getting filled in but Moose Meadow Loop still is rough and iced over. No tracks until we get enough snow. It's piling up today so go out and enjoy it. Join and support your local ski club!pz...
