All trails got a onceover this morning. Some have new tracks too. Warmer temperatures and rain softened up surfaces then it got a few scant inches of new snow topping. Keep enjoying the snow while we have it. pz...

The 5K Nordic Loop, Upper Meadows, connector trails and the Moose Meadow were groomed this morning.  No classic tracks were set.  The snow is soft and should be a lot of fun to ski today.  The trails in forested areas are dirty with lots of tree debris, but still very skiable.  Get out there soon to enjoy the tail end of winter.  Happy Easter everyone....

The Moose Meadow, Upper Valley Trails, connector trails, the Arlberg bike path and the 5K Nordic Loop were all groomed this morning.  We should have some good skiing on all trails today.  Enjoy getting out - trails are a great way to "social distance" yourself and get some fresh air....

Last night Deb gave all trails a onceover. Warm temperatures have started to turn winter conditions to spring for now. Our groomers will do their best to keep up with these changing April conditions. Get out and re-create ! pz...

Last night Deb and Nels went out on all trails to tune things up.  Warmer temps had softened the surface and it was all smoothed out. This mornings new snow will top it with a nice coating of fresh. Still many more days of skiing to go. Get out and walk, bike, hike or ski your way to enjoying our Girdwood trails. pz...

Multi use trails were tuned up yesterday so Jim and Peter went out to work on the 5 K this morning. Tracks didn't go too deep due to hard surface but the main trail got tuned up nicely into a fast ski surface. Tree debris still is there but got mixed in a bit. Continue to use caution and get out to see your neighbors and friends on the trails from a safe distance.pz...

Deb went and buffed up all multi use trails last night. Recent wind event in the valley  has put a lot of tree debris down through out the 5 K trail.. We will keep trying to groom it but expect slower snow patches on the downhills and as always use caution. Get out and enjoy the sun! pz...

Groomers have been busy. Kyle and Ethan were out yesterday and then John worked some more last night. Then John came back for more rounds this morning. Skiing should be great. Springtime conditions will be variable depending on time of day you are out there. Watch for changing conditions.  Keep your spirits up....

Peter and Jim groomed all groomable Glacier Valley trails this morning.  New classic tracks were set - some are a little thin, but mostly skiable.  The corduroy surface is nice and fuzzy - go out and give it a try - but, of course stay 6 feet away from your fellow trail users.  Enjoy the great Spring conditions!...

John went out yesterday morning to smooth out the previous night's 3" snowfall. CPG cat track is in good shape too. Winter is still here and your volunteer  groomers will stay at it to keep our valley trails groomed. Keep skiing and enjoy the outdoors. Please remember : All trails are multi use except the 5 K Loop which is Ski Only. Yesterday within 2 or 3 hours after John's nice groom 2 walkers/runners made tracks up the middle of the trail. One even walked on the ski tracks the machine had just put down....

John went out today to spiff up the park. All trails got a once over and tracks were re- done in upper Meadow loop area. Tracks are everywhere we can fit them. Thanks John! PS When enjoying the Multi- use trails with your dogs please scoop your animals Poop. Ask others if they are scooping too. Please take the time to do your part to keep our Valley Clean and Healthy. ENJOY WINTER!pz...
