Our groomers were out last night for a few rounds. Arlberg Path and 5 K surface rejuvenated. Perhaps after a ski you too will feel rejuvenated. Then do your snow dance...

5K has been spiffed up for the weekend and should ski nicely. Our multi use trails still lack adequate snow to groom established routes. Many skiers have been out despite the thin snow cover and have been enjoying exploring trails throughout the valley. Go out and follow a track and see where it takes you!...
We still need more snow to groom multi- use trails but with recent new snow routes are beginning to be skied. Go out and explore! Happy Winter....
Your volunteer groomers were out early this morning, and will keep working to get the 5K in skiing shape. Currently 1K loop and bike path have been groomed . Other areas are still lacking enough snow for machine grooming but folks are out there cutting their favorite trails. Go out and explore....
Deb groomed out the new snow this morning. Still very thin cover with some rock hits likely but improving every day. Snow surface is firming up with grooming and compaction. Stay tuned and ski it up!...
Another 4-5" new by 10:30 am added enough snow for a roller groom. It is still thin cover but improved from yesterday. Exercise caution on hills. Have fun and support your local ski club. Go Ski !...
I skied the 5K loop today on @4' new snow. Mostly ice trailbed but portions are a rock base. Currently not enough snow to pack but snow is the forecast. The new snow skied pretty well with a few rock hits. the 1 and 4K loops are skiable but VERY THIN. Currently I would recommend classic skis to pack what little snow we do have down rather than lunge into it with every skate stroke. Also skiing Corkscrew Hill should be undertaken by only the boldest of advanced skiers. Any edging pushes snow aside and leaves glare ice. We hope to pack as soon as we get enough snow. Don't give up and do your snow dance. Have fun and be safe. Peter Z...
We still need lots of snow. Rock skis still advised. Too thin snow cover to groom. Conditions are holding up. Enjoy the trail and support GNSC....
Tim track packed the 5K Nordic Loop today. Skiers liked it....
1/2/18 PM Please use caution on first loop. ( 1 K loop) return trail is showing rocks and is only for Bold skiers who are OK with rough and rocky trails. the upper loops are also showing rocks but are slightly more skiable. Snow is currently soft and non- skiers have caused bare spots with their human and dog prints. Until snow is gone the 5 K remains a ski only trail. Do your snow dance, Happy New Year....
Peter and Tim packed and rolled the 5K Nordic Loop. The report is - it came out well. Happy New Year!...
Hot Drinks, Memberships, Bonfire and Great Vibes...
After a bit of new snow, Peter rolled and put down some corduroy on the 5K Nordic Loop. He cautions us to use our 'rock' skis since the snow pack is very thin, but it should make for a fun ski. There's still not enough snow to groom the meadows....
Obviously there has been no new snow. The 5K Nordic Loop has numerous sections of ice. If you go to walk on the trail, ice grippers are recommended. Be safe out there...
Tim rolled the 5K Nordic Loop Saturday afternoon. It makes a nice ski surface. Watch for rocks lurking under the thin snow cover....
Fresh snow on the way in the forecast! ...
No snow on the ground yet. Just a scratch of snow overnight. ...
No snow yet to groom. But looks like it will be down on the ground soon. ...
