One week away is the AK Run for Women! Join the Girdwood team: Girdwood's Breast Intentions and meet up for a walk or run from the Magic Carpet at 845am Saturday June 8th. Wear pink, bring friends, and carpool or get dropped off near the day lodge. Stroll for as long as you'd like and return home or meet friends for coffee after. Spread the awareness of women's health!...

Since November, this Can-Do Crew has been maintaining the Girdwood winter trails. Over 400 hours of grooming…and much more in chainsaw action and maintenance. Today, we packed everything away. Not everyone is included the photo, but groomers usually work behind the scenes anyway. Huge THANK YOU to The Bake Shop (feeding us), Kyle (fuel and maintenance), CPG groomers, Alyeska Resort groomers, and Justin Siemens for helping with the deep snow. See you all in the fall. Please respect the trails and winter-only areas as they go through their spring cycle. Bike, hike, walk where appropriate as the snow melts! GNSC will post when trails are firm for non-ski recreation....
