All trails were groomed last night, including the Arlberg bike trail, Moose Meadow and Upper Meadows by Deb. Shane spiffed up the 5K Nordic Loop earlier in the day and added classic tracks, which are holding up well. Good luck to all Girdwoodians skiing in the Tour of Anchorage tomorrow....

The 5K Nordic Loop was regroomed this morning and new classic track was laid down. Soft conditions, but fun skiing. In addition, the Moose Meadow and Upper Meadows were groomed. There is some overflow in the upper meadows. Enchanted Forest and the trail between the church and Horror Hill are a little rough (or ruff, ruff if you're walking your dog)....

All other trails are getting a morning tune-up. Kyle and Jim are out this morning for a two machine groom to widen all multi use trails. Get out and enjoy winter....

Moose Meadow Loop and upper Valley connecting trails have the first groom of the season. Track packing last week plus last night's snow gave us enough cover to get an initial groom in. Still thin spots and water overflow to look out for. Trails traveling through wooded areas are rough due to early snow cover issues. As usual we need more snow. Go out and enjoy winter!...

Our groomers were out last night for a few rounds. Arlberg Path and 5 K surface rejuvenated. Perhaps after a ski you too will feel rejuvenated. Then do your snow dance...
5K has been spiffed up for the weekend and should ski nicely. Our multi use trails still lack adequate snow to groom established routes. Many skiers have been out despite the thin snow cover and have been enjoying exploring trails throughout the valley. Go out and follow a track and see where it takes you!...
We still need more snow to groom multi- use trails but with recent new snow routes are beginning to be skied. Go out and explore! Happy Winter....
Your volunteer groomers were out early this morning, and will keep working to get the 5K in skiing shape. Currently 1K loop and bike path have been groomed . Other areas are still lacking enough snow for machine grooming but folks are out there cutting their favorite trails. Go out and explore....

Another 4-5" new by 10:30 am added enough snow for a roller groom. It is still thin cover but improved from yesterday. Exercise caution on hills. Have fun and support your local ski club. Go Ski !...
