Unfortunately, during this continuing time of lean snowpack combined with an unpredictable upcoming forecast, GNSC has made the decision to cancel the April Ski event this year - and look toward 2026! Further: Kenai Mountains Turnagain Arm National Heritage Area, and countless other non profits, are amidst a very challenging time with federal funding disruption. They thank you for standing with them during the uncertain recent weeks. KMTA encourages supporters to send a letter to our congressional delegation using this template advocating for KMTA. Anyone who lives in these areas or uses the trails is encouraged to participate in the trail use survey. The Plan does not include trails in Chugach State Park. It only takes 10 minutes! and closes August 18th....
