Turnagain Pass @ Center Ridge Parking Area
Today groomers spruced up the groomed trails on T-Pass. With good light the groom should ski pretty well. Go up and enjoy it!

    Afternoon
    Turnagain Pass
The 2.8K loop at Turnagain Pass was groomed this afternoon. We roughed up the hard surface a bit. It should be good skiing! There's some good crust skiing in the area too - avoid the lumps and bumps, but get out there and enjoy winter. Jim

    Afternoon
    Turnagain Pass
The 2.8K loops that we put in 2 weeks ago were groomed again today. Warm weather and light rain have transformed the snowpack into mush. But, we were able to put a trail in that should be good for all types of non-motorized recreationists. Because temperatures will remain above freezing for the next few days, the groom will not set up and will be soft, but we've compacted the mush and it might actually be good skiing. Thanks to the US Forest Service for helping us put in this loop. Jim

    Afternoon
    Turnagain Pass
Our groomers got together w/ the USFS crew at Turnagain Pass today. We were able to establish @ 2.8 K of smoothed out groomed trail. Groomed trails can be accessed just above the Outhouses on the Non- Motorized side pull- out. Some skate skiers got on the groom before it had time to set so expect a few ruts here and there. First groom out there in a number of years. Enjoy it while it lasts.

    Morning
    5K Nordic Trail
Due to recent rainfall and melt/freeze conditions, the 5K Nordic Loop is very icy. Downhills will be thrilling to say the least. Because the base layer of ice is very thin in many places, we'll hold off on grooming until we get a few inches of new snow. Jim

    Afternoon
    5K Nordic Trail
No new snow, but we groomed what we had. It sure looks nice. The top layer of snow is pretty thin but should ski pretty well. We filled in the washed out areas, but they're still flagged. Have fun. Be safe. Jim

    5K Nordic Trail
The 5K Noric Trail has NOT been groomed, but it is very skiable! Recent rains have caused a number of wash outs that run across the trail. They have been flagged. When we get more snow, we'll fill those in and groom the trail. Jim
