    Morning
    Nordic Loop
Chris Urstadt groomed the Nordic Loop in chilly temperatures today. Nice corduroy, but no set classic tracks. The snow is still too thin for tracks. Please watch for rocks on the trail. Stay warm out there. Jim
  • Friday, Dec 2nd
    Morning
    Girdwood Nordic Loop
Thanks to Tim Charnon and Justin Thomas for the first grooms of the year on the Nordic Loop. The snow is light, soft and pretty thin but should make for excellent cross country skiing. Watch for rocks - volunteers removed as many as they could over the past couple of days but there are still some lurking in the snow. Jim

    Morning
    Nordic Loop
Getting the Groomers trained and waiting for a few more inches. A few people have tried to rock-ski, but gave up. Soon...
  • Saturday, Mar 12th
    Morning
    Turnagain Pass
Friday Night snowed just enough to cover a pretty nice groom. Stay posted and we will try again soon. We will be looking for a longer duration clear/ no precip period to do it all again. pz
  • Thursday, Mar 10th
    Afternoon
    Turnagain Pass!
We smoothed things out up on the pass yesterday. Same loops as previous grooms. Snow was soft granular so should be set well by morning. Go up and ski ! Access at Center Ridge Parking lot Just above the out houses.
  • Sunday, Mar 6th
    Afternoon
    5K Nordic Trail
The 5K Nordic Loop will not be groomed again this season. Due to lack of snow and construction on the Arlberg Extension - which makes groomer and skier access to the trail extremely difficult, we are suspending grooming operations. When we get another good weather window of a week or so, we'll groom a loop at Turnagain Pass.
  • Friday, Feb 26th
    Afternoon
    Turnagain Pass
The 2.8K loop at Turnagain Pass was NOT GROOMED today. At noon today, it was raining, visibility was poor and there were 15 to 20 mile per hour winds. The good news is, there's plenty of snow at Turnagain Pass so we should have plenty of spring skiing. We'll hold off grooming until the weather improves and looks like it will be good for a period of time. Stay tuned... Jim
